Kyle Steckly and 22 Racing Dominate at the Masters of the Pros 200

OVID, MI – July 23, 2025 – Canadian standout Kyle Steckly earned his first Turn One CRA Pro Series victory on Wednesday night, winning the prestigious Masters of the Pros 200 at Owosso Speedway and claiming the coveted green jacket.

Steckly and the No. 22 APC Auto Parts Centres Toyota showed speed throughout the event before the Milverton, Ontario driver took command on lap 114. From there, Steckly led the remainder of the 200-lap feature, holding off multiple late-race restarts to secure the victory in one of the series' marquee events.

The win marked a special milestone for Steckly, as it was his first victory in the United States with the 22 Racing team, the same Canadian team he grew up with that has captured two APC United Racing Series championships.

"It feels amazing," said Steckly in victory lane. "This one's special. First U.S. win with the 22 Racing boys. They're who I grew up with, going to the track with my dad and now me racing. It's just been so much fun."

"We had a really fast car this weekend. What a race. I wanted it to go green there, but those couple of restarts made it exciting and made me work for it."

Despite the pressure of several late cautions bunching up the field, Steckly executed flawless restarts and maintained control out front to seal the first Turn One CRA Pro Series victory of his career.

"Just trying to think of everything, I could, make sure that I had good position going into one. It's tricky. Everyone's so good here, obviously. Chase was to my inside. He had some good starts there. I just knew the top was dominant. We were able to roll."

The victory earned Steckly the iconic green jacket presented to the Masters of the Pros 200 winner, along with the event's $20,000 winner's purse. It also adds another major milestone to an already impressive 2026 season, with the No. 22 APC Auto Parts Centres Toyota proving to be a winning combination on both sides of the border.
